We had forgotten what it was like to have a puppy in the house...
Sleep deprivation from being up several times a night for potty breaks.
Constantly telling the puppy "No!"
Having to have the house "puppy-proofed."
Scheduling our day around the puppy's schedule.
We had also forgotten how much fun it is to watch them play.
Watching their joy when they find the perfect leaf to bring you...or to keep away from you.
Watching their tiny legs stumble about.
And cuddle time! Oh, we had forgotten all about cuddle time!
We adopted two puppies in November and we had forgotten the CHEWING! But they are so much fun. They were crate mates at the shelter so we hated to separate them.
ReplyDeleteAh, yes! The chewing! Right now Gracie's favorite thing to chew on, other than hands, are wooden drawer knobs. I'm just hoping she doesn't start to look at the couch like it's a giant rawhide! (Good luck to us both! You have double the chewing though...) :)
ReplyDeleteHi Kris,
ReplyDeleteI'm a reporter from ink magazine in KC, and I'm working on a story about local farm tours. I'm trying to get in touch with someone from your farm to ask about the sunflower patch this summer. Could you email me at sarah@inkkc.com? Thanks!
