The sunfowers have been reaching upward, like they are so often prone to do.

They are about 18 inches tall now...on average. I say "on average" because they are kind of all over the place this year.

Some came up on time, some came up late, and some didn't come up at all (this particular row came up pretty good).

Based on current rate of growth, I still guesstimate that they will be blooming the last week of August.

Maybe. I'll let you know if I change my mind.
