Wow! This is really early!
It might be next weekend (the 21st) when some of them start to pop open.

Hi, I'm planning a visit from Omaha Nebraska and need to know a window of time for good bloom total and that I can have a quick picnic there with my gal, snap a few pics, and be on our way. ReplyDeleteCongrats on the Buds! I am looking forward to seeing them in full bloom. Please keep the blog going on that and I would like to visit when they are in full bloom. My wife is from Japan and for the past 3 years that she has been living in Kansas she has never seen a field of sunflowers, so I'm hoping to change that. We are coming from Lawrence.
